Welcome, DST Coffee Friends!
We’re Sierra Flower Farm—a small, family-run flower farm in Gardnerville, Nevada, dedicated to growing seasonal blooms with care, creativity, and heart. Every flower is planted, tended, and harvested by hand with the goal of bringing a little more beauty into the lives of our neighbors and friends.
The flowers you see here are freshly harvested from our field and delivered straight to DST Coffee—each stem a reminder of the changing seasons, the love of family, and the simple joy that flowers bring into a home.
This Week’s Flower Menu
We’re so excited to have the first flowers of 2026—yay! There’s nothing quite like those first harvests of the season.
This week features double tulips in Drumline and Formula One (for my fellow flower geeks), an assortment of fancy daffodils, and Panda anemone posies. If you love fragrance, grab the tiny, fluffy daffodils—they smell like the most delicious fresh soap.
Thank you so much for supporting our small, local flower farm. It truly means the world to us.
Tulip Care
Enjoy their natural twirling and dancing as they open and close—it’s part of their charm. Fresh-from-the-field blooms drink more than store-bought flowers, so check water daily. Give them a fresh cut and clean water every other day.
Daffodil Care
Keep daffodils in their own vase—do not mix with other flowers, especially tulips. Their sap can be harmful to other blooms.
Cut Flower Care Tips
These flowers are fresh from the field and ready to shine.
Trim stems at an angle and remove any leaves below the waterline.
Top off the vase daily—these blooms drink a lot. Fully refresh the water every 1–2 days.
Keep flowers cool and out of direct sunlight for longer vase life.
